Akuvox SmartPlus App - Quick Guide

For Residents (iOS & Android)

1 Download & Prepare

  1. Download: Get "Akuvox SmartPlus" from your app store:
    Download on the App Store Get it on Google Play
  2. Account needed: Your account must be created by your building's management before you can log in. Make sure they have your email or mobile number.

2 How to Login

Three ways to log in - pick whichever suits you:

Option A - SMS Code Recommended

  1. Open the app and agree to the Terms & Policies.
  2. Tap Login via SMS.
  3. Enter your mobile number and tap Obtain Code.
  4. Enter the SMS code to log in instantly.

Option B - QR Code

  1. Check your email for a "Welcome" message from Akuvox containing a QR code.
  2. Tap the QR Code icon on the login screen and scan it. Done!

Option C - Username / Password

  1. Enter the username and password from your welcome email.
  2. Make sure the "Role" is set to Enduser.

3 Forgot Your Password?

Reset it yourself via SMS - no need to call anyone:

  1. Tap Forgot Password on the login screen.
  2. Tap Try to reset via SMS.
  3. Choose your country code, enter your mobile number, and tap Obtain Code.
  4. Enter the SMS code and set a new password.

4 Daily Use - Opening Doors

  1. From the home screen: Tap the Unlock (key) icon next to the door name to open it instantly.
  2. During a call: When someone rings your unit from the intercom, answer the call and tap the Unlock button on-screen to let them in.
